34°C/25°C (1/2)
Diptych, Self-initiated, Utrecht/Amsterdam, The Netherlands '25
As the heat settles over the city like a blanket, the usual bustle is muffled by the temperature. The streets remain emptier; only a few move from one patch of shade to another.
In contrast, in the diptych 34°C/25°C, I also wander through the underground city, where nothing seems amiss. Measurably, it differs little from normal, yet there is a palpable echo of the city’s slower pulse.
